Iron water is harmful

If you ever pour a glass of water from your home’s pipe, it seems to be rusty, or if the reddish-brown particles settle, there may be too much iron in your water.

If you have iron in your water, you certainly understand it! Iron can cause rusty water, leaving black, orange or red stains on your plumbing fixtures, toilets, and different surfaces.

This mineral may also offer you water that tastes like metal.

When you have iron, you can usually put manganese in the water. It is very difficult to remove manganese from the water and it leaves brown or black stains.
